Holly Hakes

Holly Hakes is a Masters Olympic Weightlifter and member of Chippewa Falls Barbell Club who has continued to prove that strength has no age limit. Holly is a Masters World Champion, 3-time World Record holder, and 2-time USA Masters National Champion.

At the 2025 World Masters Weightlifting Championships, she set World Records in the snatch (62 kg / 137 lb), clean & jerk (82 kg / 181 lb), and total (144 kg / 317 lb) in the W55 86 kg division.

Holly also holds U.S. National and American Masters records and has set USA Masters Supertotal records. Her success comes from years of consistent training, attention to technique, and a willingness to keep pushing herself.

Holly is a great example of what Chippewa Falls Barbell Club is all about—giving athletes the coaching, programming, and support to chase big goals and see how far they can take the sport.

Lee Hakes

Lee Hakes is a Masters Powerlifter and member of Chippewa Falls Barbell Club who continues to show what consistent training and hard work can accomplish. Competing in USA Powerlifting, Lee has steadily improved his competition total from 1,031lbs in 2024 to 1,235lbs in 2026.

At the 2026 USA Powerlifting Masters National Championships, Lee put together his best performance yet with a 397 lb squat, 325 lb bench press, and 513lb deadlift for a 1,235lb total, earning 3rd place in the Masters II 140+ kg division.

Lee’s progress is a great example of what we want Chippewa Falls Barbell Club to represent—setting big goals, putting in consistent work, competing, and continuing to find out just how strong you can become at any age.
